Full moon tonight which probably explains the range of extreme emotions today. I had a flurry of activity first thing this morning but by the time the 10am loadshedding kicked in, I was back facing my many bags of belongings. I've been fortunate to store all unused items but it's time to let go of the last bit of sentimentality, plus most of the clothes are rather snug.
I played music on my phone and took pictures of the more meaningful items and got real with myself.
Have I thought about said item in last 3 years?
Will I use them in the next year?
Does it fit?
I managed to sort through one of the bags and then the power was back on so decided to sort out lunch.
As the sun dropped over the horison, I headed outside to see if I could welcome the pink full moon but there were clouds blocking the dramatic appearance. However there were a couple of hungry bats feasting on the last of the day bugs, and I watched as they flew rather clumsily around the garden.
And finally, I got my tablet out and completed my writing project for the third month. A bit late but my tour had squeezed my deadline past month end. It's also a delicate project about my Dad. If you want to support me and buy it, you can find it here.
Thanks for always reading the blog and supporting me in this wonderful endeavor of my later-in-life travels.
