Family day

It really felt like the day after Christmas today. I had my biggest present ever, to play with and I started planning on where to go with my day.

I had a breakfast meeting so left the house fairly early and saw the feline taking cover under my Boeing. Fortunately she did move once I started the engine, but I had to climb back out and bend down to check beneath the car.

It's weird coming out of the shops and seeing the big blue diamond in the distance, ( I park far away to give myself space) instead of straining to see my tiny smartie hiding behind her big cousins. I still drive a bit like I have a 600cc engine instead of a 3litre. Going up a steep hill I almost nipped in behind the delivery scooter when I realised that I have the power to overtake.

I saw both sisters today, so it certainly was a family day. It was a braai evening too, seeing that the crickets were out and the storm clouds were far away.

Shut your eyes if you are a vegetarian.
