Domestic duties

Thursday 10th November 2022

The full moon woke me around 2am and kept me awake until after 3. I'm blaming the moon and not my busy brain. It was thinking about my tour and preparing speeches, telling me all the projects I've yet to finish, and reminding me of all the things I have to sort out. Sigh.

Then I have travel dreams, all over the place no wonder I woke up needing a few hours more rest.

Both sister and I did a Covid test which fortunately was negative because the sniffles and blergh seem to be hanging around too long. Seeing as I'm doing a public tour on Saturday, I don't want to spread anything untoward.

Today was a prep day while I tried to do the things my 3am brain wanted me to do. It was another warm day which was lovely but I didn't trust it to stay so I was probably still a little overdressed.  My sister had on some interesting YouTube videos while I was reading my notes so I think my brain was too distracted. We spent the last hour watching funny animal videos which is good for the soul to laugh.

We walked Molly a short stretch and then I made a butter chicken dish with my own additions of carrots and potatoes.  It was quite tasty. I'm quite enjoying this cooking phase that I'm in. I know it won't be for too long though because I don't like washing dishes,  lol so tonight's dishes are in the washer. A cunning plan, lol!
