Deep roots

Updated: Feb 24, 2023

Thursday 23rd February 2023

This week has flown by and writing the date above made me think twice about where I am in the world.  It's almost March! Must be all my fast running this week that sped me up, haha.

I spent a couple of hours monitoring the lack of power and as I was tossing and turning I wondered why loadshedding is distressing me so much. I never really came to any conclusion other than I might be picking up a lot of the collective frustration.  Today I tried not to read the comments on everything 'energy' and discussed this phenomenon with my fantastic massage therapist,  Lorna.

It's imperative to have a person to bounce ideas off and I'm very grateful to have Lorna willing to give her advice while kneading my tender muscles.  We've been having these regular tune ups for years now and we've both benefitted tremendously.

I drove back to my house where the construction of the wall is making great progress.  This morning they realised that the main boundary wall was in a worse state than originally thought,  so that wall came tumbling down  too. I stared in wonder at the root systems of all the different plants and marvelled at seeing the usually unseen.

Before I go too 'deep' I'm going to end here now with a wonderful feeling of gratitude.  And be like Molly, snuggling down to sleep.
