On our run this morning I was surprised to see the waning full moon, which meant that the dark clouds had lifted. It was still cool but dry, at last. Rusty enjoyed absorbing the Vit D while I readied myself for a local breakfast meeting.

Some of the older buildings in the village have been repurposed. There's a couple of restaurants and a gin distillery. Further in the village are schools which are on Christmas holidays. I'm still hoping to get into the fancy main house in the centre for pictures but today's little coffee shop was quaint.

I'm enjoying my time this side of the city.
