Car dealers

Saturday 4th June 2022 Today was a nondescript day when I woke up with a headache.  It didn't release much at any point which is a bit of a bummer but I also realise that my body has been through a tough time of poisons, pain and drugs. So after a rather exciting morning of Angie buying a car, I had to lie down for most of the afternoon. Yes, Angie bought a car.  I met Angie when I was a wide eyed 18 year old starting in the very male dominated department of TV outside broadcasts, she took me under her wing and our friendship is still strong. Through the years she's been through motherhood,  changing towns, changing careers and now changing countries and is working as a carer in the UK. She bought a motorhome last year which unfortunately has failed it's roadtest this year. While walking past a car dealership near the station on the day I arrived, I joked that she'd be better off buying a car, than trying to hire. A couple of days later, she signed the documents, paid the bill and we collect the car after the insurances have been sorted. She was beaming as we walked around the market after closing the deal, but unfortunately my headache clamped down even harder on her excitement.

Hopefully tomorrow is a better day health wise and we can explore the Abbey side of this charming town.
