Capital city

Friday 6th May 2022 Last night I realised I needed to book accommodation for tonight and the strangest thing was that I didn't panic at all. After a couple of different decisions I ended up booking in a  comfortable bnb in the Capital city for 2 nights. My intention is to finish my course work deliver it to my tutor who lives in the city. I spent the first half of the day mostly in the car and when we got to the hospital we were told that the machine wasn't working. Unfortunately that trip was for nothing so we turned back the 50km and I set off for another hour drive to Pretoria. I think my timing was good because although the traffic seemed a lot busier than Jhb, it flowed and I soon found myself under the piles of notes, cursing the Health and Safety laws that I don't know anything about.  Eventually I decided to just do what I can and be done with it. I don't need a distinction, I just need a pass.

The bnb that I'm in had 3 pet bunnies who roam about the house alongside 2 cats and dogs. I was amazed. The one even hopped over when she called it. I'm also impressed by how warmer the weather is here. I got down to one layer this afternoon and am not needing my heavy blanket tonight.

Pretoria needs a good explore which I'm not likely to do this time around. When I come back from the UK I might need a month long stay.
