Bus breakfast

Monday 9th May 2022 I woke up before the sun this morning and watched the sky lighten from my bus window. A sudden rush of energy saw me up, showered in a remarkably good shower and taking a walk in the open air before 7am. There were siren sounds from the valley and I later found out it was a neighbour who'd taken ill.

There were tell tale signs of large beasts and at the end of the small field I saw them snoozing under some trees.  It was on seeing the horns of the one cow that I realised that perhaps I might need to bolt out of the bull's way. But I think they are mellow coos being from Pretoria and all. I did a short video explaining the venue.

After a lovely breakfast and taking loads more photos,  and yes the Sony TV still works, the owner of the buses needed a lift into Johannesburg to collect his car from the panelbeaters. So I bundled my luggage and now fellow passenger into Smartie and we set off. He was incredibly chatty, which made the hour long trip feel like 5 minutes and I was in plenty of time for my last Monday Massage for a while.

It's strange seeing my South African road atlas in my car boot now,  knowing that I won't be needing it for some time.
