Brain cleaning

One of the reasons why I continue to run regularly is to clean my brain. By reading my blog you might have realised that my brain is very busy, and a good clean out helps me settle down. Just like cleaning out the cupboards for Spring. This morning I made my way to the promenade without a real intention other than to start somewhere differently and run a different direction.

The weather was perfect for a longer run and there is so much to see. The cleaners were out in full Monday force, and piles of sand all over the brickwork was being cleared by a small 'bob the builder' machine.

I stopped by the pier again watching the surfers and a part of me wondered why they weren't at work.

On my way off the pier I was looking up at the hotel my mum, dad and sister all stayed at, on one of the 'special deals in winter'. I smiled at the thought of them living luxuriously for a couple of nights and my mum's delight of her sea view so high up on the then modern hotel. I felt her excitement.

Brain clearing done for the day.
