Bonnie Ciao

Sunday 2nd October 2022

Today was my last day in Scotland for a while and I woke late and the day flew by. I tried to slow it down by going for a nice leisurely walk and say goodbye to the area on foot.

After yesterday's heavy rains it was nice to see some open patches in the sky although I still walked with my fleece on. Turned out it was rather humid but I took some photos and walked round the small dam. I got some dog love from an French Bulldog and had a chat with it's owner. The pathways are great and the trees are still amping up the Autumn shades.

I had a thought about seeing all the high walls blocking the views of the houses in Johannesburg after realising that I can see it to many people's sitting rooms. But I still have a month to go before I return to South Africa.

But from tomorrow night I will be in Italy,  darlings! For four nights only and I'm a teeny bit nervous and all. Why nervous? The different language mostly.  But I've organised my phone to have data and as my brother says,  English is widely used in the tourist areas. So it's an early trip to the airport for me, to London first to meet up with my friend so for now..

Ciao x
