Admin day

It's windy season in Durban apparently, but much like my life, whirlwinds settle. Today I woke before the horison lightened. That means rather early on this east coast of Africa. The birds were later than me too. I couldn't get back to sleep and there was no real reason to rush into my Wednesday so I lay and contemplated what to do with my day.

I decided to run then skit but I wasn't sure what topic I would do and then I remembered the sunken gardens. So my plan kicked in and I set off. By the time I got to the promenade, the wind had picked up too. As an inlander, I still get fascinated by the amount of sand that lies on the roads waiting to get cleaned up. Obviously now I understand the power of the wind and I get a clearer picture of how sand dunes can shift so radically.

After my tough run and fun skit, I made my way for my cheap breakfast before heading back to pretend that I was going to do my admin.
