A constructive day

Even the shopping gods were with me as I sailed through my list in great time.

I woke up tired, and berating myself for not wanting to run. I stayed a while in bed, keeping the heat around my legs and suddenly I was up doing things.

I'm one tiny flicker away from booking my first Airbnb in Durban but I was waiting to hear about my car's service being completed. I don't want to drive it straight from the mechanic onto The N3. I was also concerned about the lockdown rules changing and the deposits for my accommodation. Fortunately my future 'superhost' replied really quickly and reassured me.

Tomorrow I book it.

Tonight I received my mechanic's bill on my return from a run at a new venue for me, a local golf course. Both the run and the bill were manageable (although a slight toughie in both!)

My sluggish day ended up with a lot more answers and I can go to sleep now dreaming about running along the promenade soon.

Yippee!
